Well, in this post you are going find the animes that a simply awesome. Come on these are the anime series you gotta watch before you die. I do agree that if you are atleast average anime watcher then you already have seen them but still its for newcomers and also it might be like you have missed it!
P.S: the numbering is just based on my personal opinion and love affair with the anime series only, not to be taken seriously.
Let's begin!
#10 Cowboy Bebop
Opinion:
Well, numbering does not matter. Anyways people who have seen this will be mad on me for putting this gem in 10th position. Anyways let me tell you if you want to have a anime that sticks to your memory for long time. This is it. I can't really forget it. It has everything. From awesome fight scenes and action to some normal characters for whom you will develop a liking towards! You can't miss this one!
Plot:
In the year 2071, humanity has colonized several of the planets and moons of the solar system leaving the now uninhabitable surface of planet Earth behind. The Inter Solar System Police attempts to keep peace in the galaxy, aided in part by outlaw bounty hunters, referred to as "Cowboys". The ragtag team aboard the spaceship Bebop are two such individuals.
Well-balanced with high density action and light-hearted comedy, Cowboy Bebop is a space Western classic and an homage to the smooth and improvised music it is named after.

#9 Bleach
Opinion:
This is one of the most popular animes around the world. Its mainstream. It is a part of the big 3. So basically you can't go wrong with this. If you want some legendary sword battles then this is it. Absolute awesome. Must watch! Few things. Its anime stopped airing but the manga is still on going. Pick up the manga for further awesomeness.
Plot:
15-year-old Kurosaki Ichigo is not your everyday high school student. He has from as far he can remember always had the ability to see ghosts and spirits. A fateful day arrives as Ichigo encounters the shinigami Kuchiki Rukia, who saves him and his family from a Hollow at the cost of injuring herself. During this encounter, with Rukia unable to defeat the hollow she transfers her shinigami powers into Ichigo. In the aftermath, unable to continue with her job, Rukia allows Ichigo to take on the role of a shinigami in her place as they together defeat the Hollows plaguing Ichigo's town.

#6 Full Metal Alchemist Brotherhood
Opinion:
Things can't get better than this, FMA. This is referred as one of the best shows ever created. Should I say anything more? Well this can easily be #1. Actually no reason for me to put it so down but hey, numbering does not matter. It has the best ending ever in an anime I have see so far.
Plot:
"In order for something to be obtained, something of equal value must be lost."
Alchemy is bound by this Law of Equivalent Exchange—something the young brothers Edward and Alphonse Elric only realize after attempting human transmutation: the one forbidden act of alchemy. They pay a terrible price for their transgression—Edward loses his left leg, Alphonse his physical body. It is only by the desperate sacrifice of Edward's right arm that he is able to affix Alphonse's soul to a suit of armor. Devastated and alone, it is the hope that they would both eventually return to their original bodies that gives Edward the inspiration to obtain metal limbs called "automail" and become a state alchemist, the Fullmetal Alchemist.
Three years of searching later, the brothers seek the Philosopher's Stone, a mythical relic that allows an alchemist to overcome the Law of Equivalent Exchange. Even with military allies Colonel Roy Mustang, Lieutenant Riza Hawkeye, and Lieutenant Colonel Maes Hughes on their side, the brothers find themselves caught up in a nationwide conspiracy that leads them not only to the true nature of the elusive Philosopher's Stone, but their country's murky history as well. In between finding a serial killer and racing against time, Edward and Alphonse must ask themselves if what they are doing will make them human again... or take away their humanity.

#5 Death Note
Opinion:
Holy cow, if you have not watched this. Stop right now and start watching it. Its the God of psychological animes. If you are totally new to animes then also this is the best anime to get you started with. Man o man, after the stuff that happens in 2nd episode I don't think anyone can stop watching this anime. The mind battles and games are just too good. If you have not watched this then you are in for a ride.
Plot:
A shinigami, as a god of death, can kill any person—provided they see their victim's face and write their victim's name in a notebook called a Death Note. One day, Ryuk, bored by the shinigami lifestyle and interested in seeing how a human would use a Death Note, drops one into the human realm.
High school student and prodigy Light Yagami stumbles upon the Death Note and—since he deplores the state of the world—tests the deadly notebook by writing a criminal's name in it. When the criminal dies immediately following his experiment with the Death Note, Light is greatly surprised and quickly recognizes how devastating the power that has fallen into his hands could be.
With this divine capability, Light decides to extinguish all criminals in order to build a new world where crime does not exist and people worship him as a god. Police, however, quickly discover that a serial killer is targeting criminals and, consequently, try to apprehend the culprit. To do this, the Japanese investigators count on the assistance of the best detective in the world: a young and eccentric man known only by the name of L.

#4 Attack On Titan
Opinion:
This anime will keep you a the edge of your seat from the get go or maybe after episode 4 (cuz it depends on the person). Really huge mystery with lots of blood, death, sorrow, determination stuffs....
Lots of surprises are there. You should go ahead to watch it with any doubt and after 25 episodes you will be a definite fan.
Plot:
Centuries ago, mankind was slaughtered to near extinction by monstrous humanoid creatures called titans, forcing humans to hide in fear behind enormous concentric walls. What makes these giants truly terrifying is that their taste for human flesh is not born out of hunger but what appears to be out of pleasure. To ensure their survival, the remnants of humanity began living within defensive barriers, resulting in one hundred years without a single titan encounter. However, that fragile calm is soon shattered when a colossal titan manages to breach the supposedly impregnable outer wall, reigniting the fight for survival against the man-eating abominations.
After witnessing a horrific personal loss at the hands of the invading creatures, Eren Yeager dedicates his life to their eradication by enlisting into the Survey Corps, an elite military unit that combats the merciless humanoids outside the protection of the walls. Based on Hajime Isayama's award-winning manga, Shingeki no Kyojin follows Eren, along with his adopted sister Mikasa Ackerman and his childhood friend Armin Arlert, as they join the brutal war against the titans and race to discover a way of defeating them before the last walls are breached.
